Speckle's Spectacular Easter

Celebrate springtime fun at The Resort at Governor’s Crossing with a special Easter Celebration on Saturday, April 4. Guests are invited to enjoy a full day of festive activities designed for families and children of all ages. The highlight of the celebration is our Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00 AM, followed by a family movie showing of Hop, creating the perfect way to continue the Easter fun together.

Harvest Festival

September 25- October 31st

During the fall, Firefly Cove transforms into a fall festival complete with a pumpkin patch, festival games, glow-in-the-dark carved pumpkins, and a one-night-only special trick-or-treat trail during Halloween week! Join in on all the harvest fun with crafts, s’mores, candy, and more.

Christmas in the Cove

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! What better way to spend it than in a Smoky Mountain winter wonderland, complete with over 100,000 festive lights, fully decked-out Christmas trees, and a 17,000 sq. ft. ice skating rink? Enjoy Christmas crafts, warm up with s’mores by the fire, and enjoy the festivity of the season. Plus, our cozy condos add an extra layer of comfort and warmth to your stay!

Special One-Day Event | October 26, 2024

Join us for Halloween fun on October 26, 2024! It's good old-fashioned family fun that will have you dressing up, laughing, and trick-or-treating all evening long. Come in your best costume and compete in our exciting costume contest!

5:00 PM - 6:15 PM: Paint by Number, Coloring Contest, and Pumpkin Painting
Kick off the evening at the 'pumpkin patch' in firefly cove! Dive into a creative session featuring paint by number, a coloring contest, and pumpkin painting. Whether you prefer coloring or crafting the perfect pumpkin, it's all about showing off your Halloween artistry!

6:15 PM - 7:15 PM: Trick or Treat Trail
Put on your best costume and join the Trick or Treat Trail throughout Firefly Cove. Staff will be waiting with plenty of treats, so make sure to bring your bag and enjoy the spooky fun!

7:15 PM - 7:30 PM: Announce Coloring/Costume Contest Winners | Prizes
It’s time to reveal the winners of the Coloring Contest and Costume Contest! Gather around as we hand out prizes to those who have showcased their Halloween spirit in the most creative ways.

7:30 PM - 9:30 PM: Outdoor Movie - Hocus Pocus (Set-up starts at 7:00 PM)
As night falls, enjoy an outdoor screening of the Halloween classic Hocus Pocus. Popcorn and lawn chairs will be provided as you enjoy the movie under the stars with family and friends.
