We’ve almost always got something festive going on—45 whole weeks of the year, in fact. From celebrating spring’s beauty to kicking things up a few notches for the holidays, we love to celebrate with seasonal festivals hosted throughout the year and extra special opportunities for fun scattered around the resort. We have a feeling you’ll enjoy celebrating, too.

Art in the Cove

March 14 - May 18

Get ready for an unforgettable Spring at The Resorts Art in the Cove Festival! From March until May, Firefly Cove will be transformed into a vibrant celebration of creativity and Appalachian heritage complete with intricate quilt patterns and larger-than-life mosaic bears. Spin art and tie-dye activities bring out the inner artist in all of our Camp Firefly campers, while our scavenger hunt for hidden treasure invites you to embrace your adventurous side.

The Backyard Camping Festival Loading...

Get ready to embrace the simple joys of the great outdoors right here at The Resort. Think starlit skies, crackling campfires, and the sweet smell of toasted marshmallows in the air. Whether you’re a seasoned camper or just love a cozy evening under the stars, this brand-new festival is all about slowing down, making memories, and enjoying that backyard adventure feeling at your home away from home.

Harvest Festival

September 20 - November 1

During the fall, Firefly Cove transforms into a fall festival complete with a pumpkin patch, festival games, glow-in-the-dark carved pumpkins, and a one-night-only special trick-or-treat trail during Halloween week! Join in on all the harvest fun with crafts, s’mores, candy, and more.

Christmas in the Cove

November 8 - January 3

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! What better way to spend it than in a Smoky Mountain winter wonderland, complete with over 100,000 festive lights, fully decked-out Christmas trees, and a 17,000 sq. ft. ice skating rink? Enjoy Christmas crafts, warm up with s’mores by the fire, and enjoy the festivity of the season. Plus, our cozy condos add an extra layer of comfort and warmth to your stay!

Special One-Day Event | October 26, 2024

Join us for Halloween fun on October 26, 2024! It's good old-fashioned family fun that will have you dressing up, laughing, and trick-or-treating all evening long. Come in your best costume and compete in our exciting costume contest!

5:00 PM - 6:15 PM: Paint by Number, Coloring Contest, and Pumpkin Painting
Kick off the evening at the 'pumpkin patch' in firefly cove! Dive into a creative session featuring paint by number, a coloring contest, and pumpkin painting. Whether you prefer coloring or crafting the perfect pumpkin, it's all about showing off your Halloween artistry!

6:15 PM - 7:15 PM: Trick or Treat Trail
Put on your best costume and join the Trick or Treat Trail throughout Firefly Cove. Staff will be waiting with plenty of treats, so make sure to bring your bag and enjoy the spooky fun!

7:15 PM - 7:30 PM: Announce Coloring/Costume Contest Winners | Prizes
It’s time to reveal the winners of the Coloring Contest and Costume Contest! Gather around as we hand out prizes to those who have showcased their Halloween spirit in the most creative ways.

7:30 PM - 9:30 PM: Outdoor Movie - Hocus Pocus (Set-up starts at 7:00 PM)
As night falls, enjoy an outdoor screening of the Halloween classic Hocus Pocus. Popcorn and lawn chairs will be provided as you enjoy the movie under the stars with family and friends.
